next: aah! sorry for not updating in like...years. once i got back i was DEAD tired...then i had school the next day. i'm in IB, so even on the first day i had homework...but only in pre-calc. the next day i had homework from like every class. even now i shouldn't be drawing because i have a bio test, and a project, plus stuff for history, psychology and englishhhh =_= SO HARD *dies* plus more bad news for me. my orchestra's not going to china. too expensive. instead we're going to washington DC to play at the anniversary of the revolution or something so now it's only $1800. :/ oh well better than nothing. and we just got the music today. it's FREAKING HARD. idk how i'm going to juggle this and school. i'm afraid i won't be submitting stuff as frequently. sorry! anyways, this page sucks, especially that last panel. i was drawing it late last night when i was supposed to be sleeping because i had rehearsal today D: |

The light makes you see the truth, the dark makes you blind to see it.

Both the darkness and the light blind people, but only the light can actually cause permanant damage.

I actually understand the school think perfectly! I made myself more stressed by signing up for a Violin Solo in my orchestra though...YOu're lucky you get to travel places. ^__^

I don't even know why I signed up! I'm not that good XD. But our first chair in first violins was like "do it! I know you can!" That's peer pressure for you. This is why I'm hoping to play Mrs. Linklater's Tune, its a swlowish song for the most part.
I think my orchestra used to go to Disneyland to preform, that was before i joined though. Now it's all local. I remember we once played outside and our music was flying away because of the wind, we had to use close-line pins to hold it down.

we sometimes get proffessionals to play with us. in fact i think some lady from new york city ballet is doing a concerto for our upcoming concert.
(we only go out of state like every few years. like the last time was to carnegie hall in '05. i wasn't in the orchestra though.)

One professional conductor is coming to teach us something only because he was surprised at our sight reading skills at one of out consert competitions but thats all I know... Our orchestra is so unknown that people at our school are surprised to know we have an orchestra...
